A raw-material supplier may use its own hydroquinone specification such as ≤10 ppm, <10 ppm or another internal criterion. That is a supplier specification, not automatically the finished-product legal threshold. Also distinguish a numeric result from “Conforms,” “ND,” “Negative” or “<X ppm,” because those expressions do not disclose the same information.
